Tim Estiloz is an experienced, Emmy-winning and multi - talented broadcast journalist / performer... with over a decade of covering entertainment news, hard news, program hosting, anchoring and much more.
Tim’s strong suit is his energetic and engaging personality combined with a highly creative visual producing style - with a focus on entertainment and feature programming. His skill as a reporter, interviewer and producer has garnered him two New England Emmy Awards and multiple other Emmy nominations, a New England Cable Television Award, and a Telly award for broadcast excellence.
Tim has interviewed and profiled many of Hollywood’s top Oscar-winning film and television actors, music stars and other notable celebrities... including Meryl Streep, Will Smith, Kate Winslet, Brad Pitt, Denzel Washington, Queen Latifah, Spike Lee, John Travolta, Alicia Keys, Reese Witherspoon, Jodie Foster, Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Alba, Robert Downey Jr., Natalie Portman and many others.
His diverse on-air reporting and hosting experience includes stints with NBC, HGTV, E! Entertainment Television, Comcast Cable programming, PBS, and various Boston TV news operations.
Tim’s multi-faceted career and talent spreads beyond television reporting. His passionate love of comic book art led to receiving an Associate Degree in Illustration and Graphic Design from the Ivy School of Professional Art in Pittsburgh, PA.
Tim has provided illustrations for a variety of comic book publications, greeting card companies, newspapers, magazines and private commissions. He's always open to receiving new artistic challenges and creative opportunities.
Whenever possible, Tim enjoys performing and acting beyond his regular TV gig. His resume includes being cast as a state trooper “extra” for director Clint Eastwood’s film “Mystic River”
... and actor / director Ben Affleck also cast him for a speaking role as a TV reporter in his critically acclaimed film “Gone Baby Gone”.
Tim also spent a portion of his early years as a competitive singles figure skater, before turning professional and performing with the world famous Ice Capades.
A proud native of Pennsylvania, Tim claims both Pittsburgh and Philadelphia as his home towns, having spent much of his growing years in both cities.
Tim’s love for creative writing and broadcasting led to his B.A. in Journalism and Communications from Point Park University in Pittsburgh.
Tim’s other passions include traveling, dancing, bicycling, skiing, horseback riding, skydiving, skating - ice and rollerblading... and anything else that’s fun, edgy and exciting.
He's also an avid film buff, prolific writer... and a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers football fan.
